Please describe your lifestyle in your own words.?

I am a woman who has worked for many years to find out who she is. I have worked for the government, private corporate businesses, small multi focused businesses, as well as owning and running a few of my own small businesses. I am independent and currently semi-retired. I own a house with my mother here on cape cod currently. I have lived in Maine, Washington, D. C., Virginia, Maine again and back to Mass. I love to spend time with interesting people getting to know them better and allowing them to get to know me better, if they are interested. I like men and have always prefered their company to woman. I have always worked in organizations that are more male dominated and therefore have had to fight for my equality as a woman since the '70's and have enjoyed the process of getting there. I am currently writting a book and determining what I will do as a semi-retired individual (what exactly does that mean for me and how to do it my way). I would like to find someone to spend time with who is comfortable with who he is and not afraid for a woman who is confident in her own right (without him wanting me to run his life also - I do not want to do that). I have not been a mother or married, but I have always been friends with people with children of all ages and we get along well. I would welcome a relationship with children in it, but at our age they will be older and maybe have children of their own. My family is important to me and expect it to be important to others in my life. I look forward to forming new relationships at a new time of my life. How about you?
